Working principle of Y-type filter:

 Y-type filter is mainly used in large particles, large solid impurities or thick pipes as a function of protecting machinery and equipment, instruments and meters from being hindered by impurities and ensuring their normal operation. Y-type filter is not only simple in structure, but also less in manufacturing process. As long as the filter cartridge is properly selected, it can ensure the normal operation of other systems. It has the advantages of convenient cleaning, large amount of pollutants and simple installation. Y-type filter, also known as dirt remover and filter valve, is an indispensable device in the fluid pipeline. Its main function is to filter rust, sand, impurities and a small amount of solid particles in the liquid in the filter medium, so as to protect the fittings on the equipment pipeline from blockage. Its investment is small and its functionality is strong.

 Y-type filter has the characteristics of simple structure, small flow resistance, large discharge capacity and so on. 
Generally, the medium used is water, oil, gas and tap water. The filter screen is generally 18~30 mesh, the gas filter screen is 10~100 mesh and the oil screen is 100~480 mesh.
